I would like to take a picture of my room and then change the flooring, wall colour, furniture, etc. Does anyone know of a program that can help with this?
Any free programs to help choose paint colours using my photos?

Behr's website allows you to upload a photo of your room and change the colors you want. It's fun!
Reply:I bet if you did a Google/Yahoo search for "computer program+decorating+free" you'll find a few.
Check out the one below. I found it by doing the search "computer program+decorating+free"

Reply:many of the paint companies and outlets have online software that will let you toggle colors.
Or you could go to a design center at Lowe's or Home Depit, among others, and they can draw up a plan and toggle colors.
No, I do not know of a specific program.
Really though, your best bet would be to bring in an interior designer (at a cost to you) and have them work out color schemes. paint colors don't end up looking the same as one imagines it by looking at a chip. besides, all paint colors look different in different light- daylight, tungsten, soft white, bright white, mercury vapor, sunlight, florescents, halogens, and so on. Most colors are best looked out outside under natural daylight. However, if the wall to be painted is inside of a closed room, w/o a window, best to see that in the light present in the room.
