I am interested in being a trader for a hedge fund. I heard that it may be attractive to take some valuable courses in programming. Any input?
What computer programming courses are attractive to Wall Street?
It's not really just computer programming, unless you are actually creating the programs. If you are seeking to become a trader, you will be a likely candidate if you specialize in a field and have working experience (ex: pharmacist/pharm sales = investment analyst in the pharmacy industry.) The only reason computer programming is some what attractive would be understanding the trading software, etc.
