Computer programming jobs are a good choice when you live near any large metropolitan area where you'll find data centers and large corporations. Long Island (and near by NYC) is a hot bed for computer programmers, as is Chicago, San Fran, LA, Phily, Houston, Dallas, etc, etc. Living in Valley Stream your between two massive tech markets, NYC and Tech Island (sorry - I meant Long Island.) However, one computer course does not a computer programmer make.
