I would like more information about creating programized applications, such as myspace, facebook, hi5, youtube, ect. If someone knows about any websites, programs [it would be nice if they didn't cost too much] and such, I would really appreciate your help. Also, please try to make the things simpler, since I'm not a pro, but I am willing to learn. Thanks
Can somebody please help me create a website like myspace, which is an application programming?? Thanks?
The applications for those websites are not software you can just buy, they are programmed specially for the specific website, usually by the company that runs the website. They hire programmers to write and maintain the code.
If you want to learn web programming, the best way is going to school, if not, you can self teach yourself, Microsoft WebDev 2005 Express and Microsoft C# 2005 Express can be downloaded for FREE from microsoft.com. They have lots of documentation and samples.
Start by learning HTML and then JavaScipt, once you learn that start working on Server Side scripts such as ASP.net or PHP. Take a step at the time.

Webstarts is totally different from other ways to build websites. Most software programs or online services for building websites restrict you to work within tables or templates. With Webstarts you simply drag and drop your text, pictures, and videos wherever you'd like them to appear on a page then save.
