Are there any programs in Connecticut that will help a homeless mom of 3 children?

I have no family here, my ex doesnt help out and Im very very scared. Im on disability too and working right now, is a little hard. I have been a stay at home mom for 14 yrs.

Reply:apply for welfare since you desperately need it right now? Ask your children's dad to pay them child support. Get a job and move closer to where your family is so they can help out. I sorry you're in this situation, I hope things do get better. It's hard to be homeless espeically a homeless mother with three children! Hey, if you move closer to family, you can be less shy about asking them to help you look for a job and a place to stay and such. Also, there are free services out there to hellp you in your job search. Just try.
