What is the easiest way to learn programming language for begginers?

I would like to learn sql server 2000 programming but I do not have any programming knoledge. Is there any books or sites to learn programming language for begginers like me.

Please note: SQL is an XML application. You might want to start with the basics first and learn some HTML. Everything is pretty much starts with that, so its the best code to learn first. Practce an hour a day and you will get good.

Reply:Get onto a bookstore website and search for SQL Server 2000, a site like amazon will give good results and most times people who bought that item will give feedback on their experience of the item.
Reply:There is a lot of them. I am not a teacher but I Did teach myself. I think you should start learning basic concepts (database, tables, queries, Stored procedures, etc) and then move to Access and start creating objects on a database anyway SQL server is the same concept as Access with a lot of advanced features.
