I have a disability that makes it hard for me to clean. Is there a program that help me pay for a housekeeper?

I live in California. I have M.S. and fibromyalga, and my husband has renal failure. I can stand for about 20 minutes washing dishes before I get tired and need to sit down. I cannot push a vacuum. Can't some California program help me afford a housekeeperor something?

Perhaps this will help make a start... I found this on the state website. Check the heading "Services for Californians with Disabilities"

There are a fair number of links under the heading which may help you find the info you are looking for. Click on the link below to get there.

Blessings. Report It

Reply:How about contacting a local MS support group in your area, or church. You might find someone who will volunteer to help you out.

Best of luck!
Reply:your health insurance might cover that
Reply:maybe you should just try to get ssi for that as well. I mean "cant tax payers pay to clean my house" please
