I downloaded Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 for developers book, and I downloaded the program Visual basic 2005 Express Edition. Am i on right track for learning how to code in Visual Basic? What Visual Basic is this, i heard about vb 6 and vb.net , which is the one i downloaded? Thanks.

the problem with downloading visual basic 2005 "for developers' is that it is a book written for people already experienced in programming. you should check to see if there are any introductory VB books. you might try "Visual basic : THE language" by microsoft press. Good luck, happy programming.
