Looking for a program that can help me clear unwanted files from my computer to make room for Vista?

I was wondering if there is any program out there that can help you clear old, uneeded files on your computer so that you can run at least Vista Home Basic. I don't mean the Upgrade Advisor or Options Tool. Or if there is already just a program that find thing you can remove from your computer so that you have a certain amount of room available. Anything?

Looking for a program that can help me clear unwanted files from my computer to make room for Vista?
Go to start menu--%26gt;settings---%26gt;control panel--%26gt;ADD or REMOVE programs---%26gt;click on the program which you want to remove and then click "Remove"... the whole program gets automatically deleted..

Reply:i think that u want to free up space. let's begin to do steps:

1- add/remove programs from control panel.(remove unwanted,less used programs).

2- program files folder where there is programs that may not appear in the add/remove wizard.

3- disk clean up tool from startup menu accessories (remove temp %26amp;others.)

4- the duplicates:those files that present more than one time ,use this great program to find and delete the duplicates %26gt;%26gt;

5- try to find that files that u don't use them regularly and compress them in one file or burn them to a cd ,or even use a virtual online file store like yahoo files or 4shared.com .
Reply:Thats the silliest thing I ever heard. Vista will do that for you. The question is do you have 256mb of video ram at least 1 gb regular 100 gb of hard drive. and at least 1.5 ghz processor speed even though the box says 800 mhz. If you don't have this it run so slow it wouldn't matter what you delete.
