What programming language should a child use to draw simple images, ask questions and tabulate the data?

A young child (13) wants to write s simple program to present color blocks, ask for the users preferences and tabulate those answers based on the user demographics - what programming language for a Windows OS makes the most sense?

Probably Visual Basic.net
Reply:C# or VB.Net would, but given your description of the program, some of the concepts may be beyond the 13 year old. An introduction to algebra is kinda essential to program for the Windows UI.
Reply:visual basic is most best bcos it no need a strong programming foundation

it is user friendly where child can learn their self
Reply:javascript. It should be able to do things like create blocks and present/ handle questions/answers.
